Beneath the streets of New york City, a new evil has arisen. Its movements silent, its' kiss deadly. For a ten thousand years it has been entombed. Locked away long ago. Its' hunger untamable, its' thirst unforgiving.

It ...She... is Dark Raven, Egyptian slave buried alive with her master to serve in the after life.

Locked away in darkness. She awaited her master. Waited for the glory of the after life. All that came was fear. Her fear turned to anger, her anger to despair. And in that moment of weakness, desperation, her heart turned black.

She survived on whatever she could, but soon there was nothing, no food..No vermin, no hope. In a last act of defiance, desperation. She opened the tomb of her master and ate her heart. An evil madness consumed her.

The spirits of Pharaohs long past, angered by her act of desecration, cursed her to live for eternity. To feed on a never ending supply of things that crawled in the shadows.

She was doomed to this fate ...Until now.
